Helen's 2021 Round Up

Wow, what a year!

When we were finally able to reopen our doors we were overwhelmed by the support of our wonderful customers, who were also glad our store had ‘survived the storm’. Looking back I will take away with me not to take anything for granted and to be grateful for the simplest things life brings us.

Thank you

Our new website and online shop certainly helped us navigate tough times and has introduced us to so many more lovely customers….so when I say ‘Thank you’ I really do mean it…without your continuing support things could have been sadly so different, not just for us but for all the fabulous small businesses and artisan makers we support…you really do mean the world to us!

Creative Workshops

This year we also began to slowly reintroduce our ever popular Creative workshops, which again have been welcomed by you and us! It’s a great opportunity to learn a new skill, meet new friends and to enjoy 10% off in store on the day! We will continue to add new workshops throughout 2022, just click on the workshop link to see what’s coming up.

Christmas, cosiness and cake...

2021 has been (thankfully)a busy year and I, like so many of us am looking forward to having some time off over the festive period to relax and enjoy some family time. We’ve booked a few ‘special treats’ to create memories we will treasure and this year it’s my other half’s turn to cook the roast (result!) so for me it will be feet up by the open fire, cosy blankets, plenty of candles a good book and a glass (or two) of my favourite tipple ooohhhh and a slice of home made ginger cake…if you fancy making it yourself, click here for the recipe.

Reflections...

Taking my own advice it will be time of reflection self nourishment, kindness and above all VERY Hygge! I do hope our monthly newsletters, blogs and promotions have inspired you to do the same this year……and whatever your Christmastime holds for you I hope you find a few moments to reflect and give thanks…meanwhile your thoughtfulness is a gift I will continue to treasure and I’m humbled and grateful for your kind words of encouragement and custom both of which really are truly appreciated.

I wish you and yours a Very Happy Christmastime & a Peaceful New Year
