Yew Tree Cottage

This large four bed in the heart of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park provides a space that is all about family time.

Downstairs I redesigned the old kitchen to create a boot/utility room with all modern conveniences plus space for bikes, dogs, muddy boots etc and a large twin bedroom with plenty of room for ‘rainy day’ play!  

 

The large functional family bathroom has a touch of luxury for all with a shower and bath tub for long hot soaks after an adventurous day.

Upstairs I designed a large open plan space incorporating a lounge, diner and kitchen so the whole family could come together.

​

I used leaves as my ‘thread‘ for the soft furnishings in yellows, greens and creams which add a touch of warmth to a sunny space. I even commissioned four huge ‘trees’ for the walls to add fun hanging space and unique wall art!
