About the event
In this amazing workshop you will make an autum leaves themed garland using thin copper sheet.
Using a technique of scoring and stretching the copper sheet, you will create a variety of beautiful, shaped elements to attach to a length of rustic twine.
If you have participated in one of Nicky's workshops before, you will know that she likes to introduce a little bit of "alchemy" when at all possible! So in this workshop you will use a gas wand, to gently heat the metal, thus producing a variety of gorgeous colours on the copper – no two pieces are ever the same!
The finished piece (approx 1m long) can be used to decorate many areas of your home, or would make a lovely gift.
